The Diamond District

Made here, where the trade has lived for five centuries.

Eighty percent of the world's rough diamonds still pass through one square kilometre of Antwerp. The cutters, the polishers, the setters, the goldsmiths — they're our neighbours. The atelier sits on Hoveniersstraat 19, two doors from the bourse, with a door open to clients by appointment.

You're welcome to visit. Watch a piece being made. Bring a stone of your own, or one of ours. The work happens here, in front of you, the way it has since the 1400s.

Atelier voices

From people who've sat at our bench.

Three commissions, in their own words. Full names on request — we ask each customer before quoting them and don't publish anything they haven't approved.

"We commissioned an engagement ring on a tight 6-week deadline. Lukas's first sketch landed two days after our brief, and the finished ring exceeded the renders. The stone selection was honest — we saw three candidates side-by-side before picking. Worth the trip to Antwerp."

"A pair of wedding bands in mixed metals, with internal hand-engraving. The atelier kept us informed at each step — CAD render, wax inspection, casting, setting, final finish — all on the original quote, no surprises. Quiet, careful work."

James B. Wedding bands · March 2026

"Hand-engraved family crest signet on 18kt yellow gold. Two-week turnaround for an engraving that other ateliers quoted four weeks on. The detail on the heraldic lion is remarkable for the size of the face."
